International: MICITT signs digital government cooperation agreement with Estonia
The Costa Rican Ministry of Science, Technology and Telecommunications ('MICITT') announced, on 13 September 2019, that it had signed a cooperation agreement ('the Agreement') with Estonia on the promotion of digital government. In particular, the Agreement encourages, among other things, the development and implementation of platforms for data exchange between institutions, cooperation between technology companies for the development of digital services, development of digital identity, as well as training and the exchange of best practices in cybersecurity.
