Bosnia & Herzegovina: AZLP publishes 2025 work plan

On November 11, 2024, the Agency for Personal Data Protection in Bosnia and Herzegovina (AZLP) published its work plan for 2025.

What are the AZLP's priorities for 2025?

The work plan noted that the AZLP aims to ensure the rule of law, security, and respect for fundamental rights by:

  • ensuring the right to data protection;
  • strengthening awareness of the importance of personal data protection, including by presenting reports on the state of data protection in Bosnia and Herzegovina;
  • providing legal opinions on draft bills and law proposals;
  • providing legal opinions and explanations on the application of laws in response to inquiries from other public bodies;
  • providing decisions on complaints procedures; and
  • monitoring international activities.

You can read the work plan, only available in Bosnian, here.
