On August 29, 2024, the Danish Digital Agency (Digitaliseringsstyrelsen) announced that it had published a thematic webpage on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the public and private sectors.
Particularly, the webpage features the following:
- guidelines on the use of generative AI for companies and authorities;
- experiences with the use of AI in the public sector; and
- the Digitaliseringsstyrelesen and Danish data protection authority (Datatilsynet) AI regulatory sandbox.
Guidelines on the use of generative AI for companies
In particular, the Guidelines for companies on the responsible use of generative AI recommends that companies:
decide which generative AI tools suit the company's needs;
- create guidelines adapted to the choice of generative AI tool with an emphasis on possibilities and pitfalls of the generative AI, as well as legislative and contractual considerations; and
- adopt organizational frameworks for commissioning new technology.
