EU: European Board for Digital Services holds 10th meeting

On December 16, 2024, the European Commission announced that the European Board for Digital Services held its 10th meeting on December 12, 2024, allowing Digital Services Coordinators (DSCs) and observers to inform on their ongoing activities and investigations.

The Commission outlined that it:

  • updated on recent enforcement activities and the latest developments on the work on the protection of minors online, including age verification application and Article 28(1) of the Digital Services Act (DSA) guidelines;
  • updated on the risk assessment reports received from 19 very large online platforms (VLOPs); and
  • presented the results of the public consultation on the draft delegated act and the feedback received on data access for researchers.
