Senegal: CDP publishes second quarterly notice
The Senegalese data protection authority ('CDP') published, on 26 July 2022, its second quarterly notice which describes the current situation of the protection of personal data in Senegal. In particular, the CDP noted that, during the second quarter of 2022, it processed 55 files, including 35 declarations and 20 authorisation requests.
Moreover, the CDP stated that it will adopt other general deliberations in the coming months, with a view to better regulating the most recurrent specific processing of personal data.
