Saarland: Saarland Commissioner publishes 2017-2018 annual report
The Saarland data protection authority ('the Saarland Commissioner') presented, on 10 April 2019, its 2017-2018 annual report ('the Report') to the President of the State Parliament ('Landtag'). The Report outlines, among other things, how the Saarland Commissioner cooperated with the Landtag. In addition, the Saarland Commissioner highlighted the types of complaints received, and elaborated on the sectors affected. In particular, those sectors included healthcare, debt collection, banking, real estate, marketing business to business ('B2B'), marketing business to consumer ('B2C'), and video surveillance in non-public places.
