Indiana: Senate President signs bill on AI and cybersecurity
On March 12, 2024, Senate Bill 150 for Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity was signed by the President of the Indiana State Senate after being signed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives on March 11, 2024. In particular, the bill provides for the creation of an artificial intelligence (AI) task force, the adoption of cybersecurity and related policies in the public sector, and the requirement for an AI inventory in the public sector.
