Bavaria: BayLDA to provide AI guidance for SMEs
On August 9, 2024, the Data Protection Authority of Bavaria for the Private Sector (BayLDA) announced that it is expanding its information offering on its website with a new focus on artificial intelligence (AI) and data protection for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). BayLDA stated that SMEs need more than academic projects to find their appropriate approach to the future topic of AI. The new information offerings from the BayLDA will offer a pilot service and provide requirements so that everyday digital life in companies can also succeed with AI.
