Italy: ACN publishes guidelines for strengthening database protection against improper use
On November 26, 2024, the Italian National Security Agency (ACN) announced that it had published guidelines for strengthening database protection against improper use.
The guidelines provide an overview of existing regulatory measures to counter the risk of unauthorized access, including both insider threats and external threats. In particular, the guidelines address the management of supply chain risks, the control of privileged access, the training of administrative staff, and internal monitoring and auditing activities.
