Iowa: Bill for consumer data protection recommended for passage by Economic Growth and Technology subcommittee
House Study Bill ('HSB') 12 for an Act relating to consumer data protection was recommended for passage, on 23 January 2023, by a unanimous vote of the subcommittee of the Economic Growth and Technology Committee. In particular, the subcommittee's recommendation follows the introduction of HSB 12 to the Iowa State General Assembly, and further reference to the Economic Growth and Technology Committee, on 12 January 2023.
