Cyprus: Commissioner delivers annual report of 2022 to the President
On March 12, 2024, the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection (the Commissioner) announced that it handed over its annual report for the year 2022 to the President of the Republic.
In particular, the Commissioner highlighted that the annual report shows an increase in complaints and questions addressed to the Commissioner from citizens, thus demonstrating a rise in the general awareness of personal data protection issues.
