Brazil: ANPD invites universities to collaborate in AI and data protection regulatory sandbox
On November 22, 2024, the Brazilian data protection authority (ANPD) published a notice inviting universities and public institutions to collaborate in the ANPD's artificial intelligence (AI) and data protection regulatory sandbox.
The ANPD noted that the collaboration aims to implement and execute the regulatory sandbox. The collaborating institutions will evaluate the projects, implement the regulatory environment, and train the participants of the regulatory sandbox.
Proposals can be submitted until January 24, 2025.
