Sahar Abas is an associate in the corporate team of the Dubai office, focusing on debt and equity capital markets and finance transactions using both conventional and Islamic finance structures. Sahar also advises clients on the full spectrum of data protection, privacy, AI and cybersecurity matters and publishes regularly on cybersecurity related developments, specifically focusing on UK, EU and Middle East legislation and regulation. She completed her training contract in the firm’s London office, during which time she undertook a six month secondment to the firm’s Dubai office. Sahar is also a London office Pro Bono Scholar and is fluent in Dari.
