In addition to the newly enacted laws, Texas is also on the horizon with a privacy bill in the last stages of the legislative process. In line with existing US State privacy legislation, these pieces of legislation introduce requirements governing the collection, use, sale and sharing of consumer data, and establish consumer data rights.
