Cape Verde: CNPD announces Vice-Presidency of AFAPDP
The National Commission of Data Protection ('CNPD') announced, on 17 October 2019, that it had been elected as the Vice-President of the Association of Francophone Data Protection Authorities ('AFAPDP') during the 13th General Assembly and 12th Annual Conference of the AFAPDP. In particular, the CNPD highlighted that it had been a member of the AFAPDP since October 2018, and that the main objective of the AFAPDP is to strengthen the effectiveness and cooperation between its members, and to promote the right to data protection and democracy.
