Oman: MOLA publishes Royal Decree 64/2020 Establishing the Cyber Defence Centre and Promulgating Its System
The Ministry of Legal Affairs ('MOLA') published, on 10 June 2020, Royal Decree 64/2020 Establishing the Cyber Defence Centre and Promulgating Its System ('the Decree'). In particular, the Decree highlights that the Chairman of the Internal Security Service will issue any necessary regulations and decisions for the implementation of the Decree. In addition, the Decree will be published in the Official Gazette and come into force on the date following its publication in the Official Gazette.
