Maine: Bill relating to biometric data processing carried over to subsequent session by House of Representatives

On July 26, 2023, Legislative Document 1705 for An Act to Give Consumers Control over Sensitive Personal Data by Requiring Consumer Consent Prior to Collection of Data was carried over by the Maine House of Representatives, in the same posture, to any special or regular session of the 131st Legislature. In particular, the bill was introduced in the House on April 18, 2023, and thereafter referred to the Judiciary Committee. Moreover, on April 20, 2023, the bill was referred to the Committee on Judiciary of the Maine Senate.
