In particular, the law provides a system for the protection of consumer rights and addresses, among other things, the fairness of legal relations established between businesses and consumers, the transparency of business practices, and the legitimate interests of consumers. Notably, the law contains a number of information obligations and confirms that the processing of personal data in accordance with the law must comply with the Personal Data Protection Act (Act 8/2005).
Finally, the law will enter into force on 1 January 2022.
