Jiangxi: Provincial Social Credit Regulations come into effect
The Information Office of the Provincial Government and the Provincial Development and Reform Commission announced, on 19 February 2022, that the Jiangxi Social Credit Regulations would be in force from 1 March 2022. In particular, the Information Office highlighted that the Regulations provide for, among other things, social credit information management the protection of credit subjects rights and interests, and legal responsibilities. More specifically, the Information Office outlined that the Regulations provide for the definition and classification of social credit information, stipulating the collection, sharing, and application of public credit information and market credit information.
