Czechia: NÚKIB opens public consultation on new National Cyber Security Strategy
On July 18, 2024, the National Office for Cyber and Information Security (NÚKIB) announced that it has begun preparing a new National Cyber Security Strategy (NSKB) and invited public comments on the same. The NSKB is a document that establishes Czechia's basic strategic direction in the field of cybersecurity. The current NSKB was developed in 2020 and is valid for five years.
NÚKIB welcomed comments on the following topics:
- current and future threats, challenges, and opportunities in cybersecurity;
- the strengths and weaknesses of the cybersecurity system in Czechia; and
- the main goals the new strategy should focus on.
Public comments can be submitted via [email protected] until August 30, 2024.
